Directions: From Boulder take the Diagonal Hwy 119 Northeast and turn right on 63rd Street. Take 63rd south and make a left (east) on Nautilus Drive. The parking area and trailhead is inbetween East and West Lakes.
Twin Lakes Open Space is a pleasant park with trails that loop around the twin lakes, East & West Lakes. While you can hike around each separately, hiking the exterior trail around both lakes makes for a nice 1.2 mile hike. The trails are natural surface which makes this park a little nicer and more rugged than most lake loops. |
