Directions: From Denver, head West on I-70 to the Morrison/Park and Ride Exit. Head south on 93 past Matthews Winters Park and turn right into Entrance #2 of Red Rocks. Make a right on Trading Post Road and park at the Trading Post.
The Trading Post Trail is the main event for hiking at Red Rocks Park. The trail starts from the Trading Post, a touristy, but fun, gift shop with snacks and other treats. The trail is a short hike that loops around the ionic and fascinating red rock formations that make this park the crown jewell of the Denver Mountain Parks System. There is not much direction needed for this hike, just follow the well maintained trail and enjoy the views. |
