Everyone knows Green Mountain, right? Green Mountain in the Boulder foothills is one of the most popular hiking spots in the Front Range. There are many routes to the top, one of the easiest, and least known, is the West Ridge Trail. I typically avoid this area during summer weekends but if you are looking for a short but satisfying hike in the Boulder area, maybe for an early morning or early evening hike, then check out the West Ridge Trail.
The trail starts from the western side of the Boulder Mountain Park, along Flagstaff Road. The hike |
