Directions: This trail starts 1 mile east of the Visitor's Center, on Rim Rock Road.
This short but sweet trail has the best view of Independence Monument on the Canyon Rim. The trail follows a narrow ridge jutting out into the canyon, the views up and down the canyon are fantastic. Because of the short distance and exciting views, this would be a great hike for kids, but adults will enjoy it as well. |
