Directions: From Boulder, head west on Mapleton Ave, this becomes Sunshine Canyon Drive. Follow Sunshine Canyon Drive until you see the parking area and trailhead on the left.

Hike Description: This small open space park provides a pleasant, short, easy hike with great views. This is a great hike for kids. The trail switchbacks up Bald Mountain and traverses through open meadows and an area struck by wildfire but recovering nicely. The view of the Indian Peaks from the summit makes for a great destination and a nice place to relax.
