Hike Description: Evergreen Lake is a wonderful, popular, easy walk/hike in the heart of Evergreen. The lake is popular with fishers, boaters, and walkers. Don't expect a wilderness experience on this hike, but the hike is well worth visiting and revisiting. It's great for kids and great for out of town guests. The town of Evergreen has many food, beer, and ice cream options, making this a great place to spend the afternoon. It is also generally 10-15 degrees cooler than down in Denver, so it's perfect to beat the heat on a summer afternoon.
