HIKE DESCRIPTION:
This small section of the Big Dry Creek Trail passes through a particularly pleasant natural area just behind the Front Range Community College campus. The hike follows the paved Big Dry Creek Trail from the Legacy Ridge Trailhead north and breaks away from the pavement to College Pond. College Pond itself is small but scenic with nice views of Longs Peak Mt. Audubon and more. The trail circles College Pond and you can either continue north on the Big Dry Creek Trail or return to the Legacy Trailhead for nice little balloon loop.
